How How Burger King has been keeping it real

Less is more in Burger King

As Burger King continues to satisfy our cravings out, it has just introduced its new baby called Keep It Real Meals with the likes of Nelly, Anitta and Lil Huddy to debut a few new menu items that are worth every bite. Starting off with Nelly’s Cornell Haynes Jr Meal, a classic flame-grilled Whopper is loaded up with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo and ketchup that comes with small fries and a mini-Sprite. Anitta’s Larissa Machado Meal is an Impossible Whopper topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard that comes with the same fries and a drink. Lil Huddy came up with a more adventurous offering dubbed the Chase Hudson Meal composed of a hand-breaded Spicy Ch’King with cheese, four-piece mozzarella sticks and a chocolate shake to cap it all off. 

In celebration with the many years of service, Burger King reassures their customers that it’s okay to eat like a real King even when they opted for more natural, genuine and fresh flavors, eliminating over 120 “non-essential” artificial ingredients from its menu – some of these are mouthfuls like sodium ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate and potassium hydrogen sulphite, and it tastes just as phenomenal. 

And even though 120 synthetic flavors were removed and blacklisted on the menu, they still added a bit of spice and all things nice when they requested some ambassadors to use their real names, aligning with the larger “real food” theme. And just like McDonalds when they have been collaborating with celebrities over the past year like J Balvin, Saweetie, Travis Scott and K-pop group BTS to design custom menu orders, Burger King is going for a star power to support a bigger push into loyalty. Royal Perks was launched in February in a handful of market but went nationwide in early September. The company claims that 80% of members are likely to recommend the service to other consumers.
