A surprise announcement was made September 15, 2021 stating that the global K-pop group will host an online concert and its called PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE. This title was gotten from their English track ‘Permission to Dance’. This virtual concert is dancing its way on October 24, at 6:30 PM KST, 4:30 PM JKT and 5:30 PM PHT/SGT. Fans can watch the live stream on Weverse. This online show will last for about 90 minutes and we can expect the group continuing to innovate and revolutionize as K-pop slowly becomes the hottest new genre in the music industry all across the globe. The group revealed the event in a video wherein they vowed “we’re going to meet ARMY through online streaming, our stage is where you are. Please enjoy the concert with us that day!” A poster escorted this announcement which showcased the color scheme of the “Butter” CD single. It is their very first single in almost a year. Corresponding to the release, the show was viewed in 191 countries, regions and used AR and XR tech allowing the seven members to interact with their followers through an “ARMY on Air” fan event. Currently, there was no additional information available regarding the upcoming concert. The ‘BTS Map of the Soul’ tour may have been postponed last April 2020 due to the travel restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, but this online concert is about to take place.
