The Asian-American music group has announced that the flagship music festival will be held on November 6 and 7, 2021 at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California and will feature guests like 88rising artists Rich Brian and Niki and newcomer Warren Hue.
After over a year without live concerts, the pandemic has somewhat slowed down to some countries, to a point where events can finally resume. And this fall, the us is slated to host a surplus of music festivals, one of which will be the third annual Head In The Clouds Festival that is hosted by Sean Miyashiro‘S 88rising Company. “We’re excited to bring back the world’s greatest Asian Music Festival to Los Angeles at a new location just outside the historic Rose Bowl. Both the 88rising and Goldenvoice teams have been hard at work to provide fans an immaculate experience from the lineup to the production to the food. We can’t wait to see everyone there,” said 88rising founder Sean Miyashiro.
2021 marks the very first time the Head In The Clouds Festival, which originally debuted in 2018, will be held over a span of two days, and will include iconic album series featuring 88rising artists and special guests from east to west. The project will bring Asian experience through a universal lens – lovelorn, self-reflective, and homesick songs about triumphing over self-doubt and being caught between two worlds, according to a press release.
This year, a $1 donation per ticket will ensure that young people in Los Angeles have access to creative exploration through inner-city arts, an arts education provider for children in Los Angeles’ Skid Row. Purchasers will have the option to donate additional funds at checkout. Tickets are priced at $249 per head. 88rising had posted the line ups (below).
