Milan Fashion week has resumed after 18 months of recession due to Covid-19 outbreak.
The glamour and glitz once again took stage for a week-long show last month which began on September 21 and ended on September 27, 2021. However, health and safety protocols were still observed as it was limited to predominant audience.
Due to restrictions guest list has been reduced and the invitees were required a proof of vaccination, negative Covid-19 test result and of course the wearing of face mask.
But behind the evident changes is the hopeful and lively disposition towards the future of fashion. Indeed, last week’s Milan fashion event showed just that.
Milan fashion week was dominated with vibrant, fun and disco fever atmosphere with signature brands pulling off a 60’s, 70s vibes during the runway show. The said event featured some of the prestigious labels in the world- Prada, Versace, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, Alberta Ferretti, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro, Missoni, Tod’s.

MOD Micro-Minis
Twiggy MOD feels anyone? These 60’s inspired skirts were paraded in last week’s fashion show. These vintage favorites are a great outfit to feel preppy and comfortable at the same time while strolling around the town on a spring morning.

One-side hip dip will soon be on the rise. From the pelvic cutout trend to one-side low-rise skirts, this style is a sure a recollection of the early 90s fad. Versace, No.21, and Philosophy were some of the brands who highlighted this trend last week.
