Burger king spooks Halloween by conjuring the perfect paranormal treat made specially for daring wanderers — the ghost whopper!
Nothing like Filipinos have experienced before, the mysterious ghost whopper is currently available in metro manila but only until November 2. The hungry, brave souls can order it via delivery, drive-thru, take-out, or dine-in at any of the 13 select stores, namely, times Alabang-Zapote, Malabon C4, Gil Fernando, Alabang Town Center, Macapagal Boulevard, Frontera Verde, E. Rodriguez, Fairview Commonwealth, Kamias Kalayaan, Timog, Welcome Rotonda, Ortigas Roosevelt, and BGC Mckinley Park Residences.
Just a few days before Halloween, an actor dressed in a ghost costume greets customers at a Burger King drive-thru in Timog Avenue, Quezon City on Friday. The Halloween-themed drive-thru called “scare-thru” features actors in costumes, smoke machines, and sound effects. Customers got to experience the cackles of mischievous spirits, the screeches of the souls returning from the afterlife, and the spine-chilling howls of beasts of the unknown in the safety of their own cars. They were welcomed by an eerie store facade draped in cobwebs and red lights of horror, the customers were greeted by terrifying figures and horrifying screeches from the afterlife, during the 7:00-9:00 p.m. horror hours, warning them of the impending scares ahead.“As a brand that prides itself for being unconventional, we wanted to give our customers and fans a spooky experience unlike any other during the scariest day of the year. We’re extremely thrilled to have been able to bring them the fun and excitement of Halloween that they have long been missing since being restricted by today’s circumstances,” said Joey Dominguez, General Manager of Burger King Philippines.
