Caramel Apples

Apples seemed to be a staple not just in the table but also during Halloween and sometimes present in some spooky movies. This delectable recipe has been a favorite after its discovery in the 1950s when a Krafts Food salesman named Dan Walker dipped the apples in a melted caramel. When making this treat make sure that the apples are firm and without blemish or spots. Wash them thoroughly and insert a stick into the stem end. After putting it in the freezer, you may now dip them into the melted caramel.

Candy Corn Treats

Candy Corn is probably one of the classic treats prepared during Halloween. This triangle-shaped with yellow, orange and white hues is made out of corn syrup and sugar and most likely present in every kid’s trick or treat bags.

Halloween Pumpkin Pie

Although pumpkin pies are mostly served during Thanksgiving, this recipe can also be prepared during Halloween and can be recreated with decorations that symbolizes fright and spookiness. One of the things to remember in making a perfect pumpkin pie is of course having a fresh pumpkin for the puree. You can top the pie with decorative crusts such as cute ghost cuts or anything that resembles the Halloween feels.
